April Weir-Hauptman - Clinical Project Manager at InClin, Inc.
Ms. April Weir-Hauptman is a Clinical Project Manager for InClin, Inc., a Contract Research Organization based out of San Mateo, CA. Ms. Weir-Hauptman has been involved with clinical research for the past several years, having worked on clinical trials ranging from Phase I to Phase III. As a Clinical Project Manager, she ensures that study timelines are met, federal regulations in drug development are being followed, and manages the team and budget of the clinical trial. She has also worked in business development in the field of clinical trial research, drafting proposals and study budgets for clinical trials.
Prior to working in clinical research, Ms. Weir-Hauptman has worked in the biotech industry, specifically in the field of human embryonic research. Her graduate work was also in the field of stem cell research. She has experience in drafting federal grants, setting up a stem cell laboratory, project managing, managing teams, and optimizing processes.
Ms. Weir-Hauptman has earned a BS in Chemistry, an MS in Biochemistry, and an MBA in General Management with an emphasis in Finance.
Don Zukowski - Account Executive for Vitae Diagnostics
Mr. Don Zukowski is an Account Executive for Vitae Diagnostics, based out of Torrance, CA. Vitae Diagnostics specializes in the Clinical Medical Laboratory discipline. Prior to Vitae Diagnostics, he was employed at Fisher Scientific and has over 17 years of managing biotech sales. He was responsible for negotiating contracts and building relationships with PowerBuy 4 You and BioForward. In addition to negotiating contracts, he also sold sales equipment and managed biotech biopharmaceuticals. Don holds a BA in Finance and Accounting and has over 21 years of experience in the field of pharmaceutical.
Casey Collins - Financial Advisor
Casey joined Waddell & Reed in 2013 as a Financial Advisor, and focuses his practice on building suitable investment portfolios, assisting businesses and families develop financial plans, and implement risk management strategies. His prior work experience includes a Commerical Credit Analyst, Associate Underwriter, and Business Consultant. Casey graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2003 from The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business majoring in Finance, Investments, and Banking. He has previously served as a volunteer Panelist for the Wisconsin Technology Council's Wisconsin Governor's Business Plan contest, which assists early-stage companies create well-paying jobs in Wisconsin.

Dr. Charles Landry - Field of Molecular Biology and Neuroscience
Dr. Charles Landry has over 25 years of experience in the field of molecular biology and neuroscience. He has a world-class reputation in molecular neurobiology, has numerous publications, reviews and book chapters and his work on addiction has been profiled in the Wisconsin State Journal and Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. After 10 years as a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Dr. Landry is now applying his talents in the biotechnology sector, at his current position at Scarab Genomics, where he has successfully obtained millions of dollars in federal funding and is an inventor on several patents that are pending. Additionally, Dr. Landry is a member of the Scientific Advisory Boards of Sovegen Neurologicals and Somnogenex LLC, new biotechnology companies in neuroscience.
Mark Jackson - Co-Founder of NeoClone
Mark Jackson is one of the co-founders of NeoClone and was responsible for developing the company’s initial business and research strategies. He negotiated the license for a retroviral transformation technology with the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) on behalf of NeoClone, and has been full-time at NeoClone since early 2001. Prior to NeoClone, he was employed at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Medical School. His research had focused on cancer and cell signaling and immunological responses to viral antigens. In 2013 he left NeoClone and has formed a company IMMUN-IP, where he focuses on the licensing of patented technologies primarily for the biotechnology industry.
